Ana and Elsa's parents are on their sinking ship, they write a letter in a bottle addressed to their daughters.
A secret that the girls must know!!

5 years later, Arendelle
Ana and Elsa in front of their parents' graves putting down flowers.
Elsa has a surprise for Ana, "a gift for you wedding"

Present Day, Our World
Elsa sees the sign and says "Storybrooke..."

Opening credits: Snowflake

Storybrooke
Regina is devastated, Emma is trying to apologize
Robin Hood's wife hates the queen but everyone is on Regina's side

Elsa uses her ice powers to stop the car of two of the dwarfs
She goes into town and her ice powers are following her
"Control, don't feel" Poof ice powers gone
She sees a wedding dress

Flashback
Ana is very excited and she's rambling
Elsa shows her their mom's wedding dress (resembles Rapunzle's a bit)
She makes a snowflake necklace to go with the dress
Ana tries it on
(There's a deleted scene from the movie with the girls picking out outfits for a party)
Elsa finds a diary and snowflakes start floating around her
"Our parents, their death, it's all my fault!!!"

Now
Belle kisses Rumple, they visit Neal's grave
He tells a really heart wrenching story to the grave and then asks for the strength to give Belle the real dagger

Robin visits Regina. He tells her that his feelings to her are real but the other chick is his wife and he made a vow
He leaves her alone in her big empty home. She breaks a mirror and has an epiphony
She goes into the hospital and retrieves Sydney (her "mirror")

Belle shows Rumple to a house that wasn't there during the first curse and suggests they borrow it for their honeymoon
They go inside, Rumple freezes her and puts the dagger back.
She leads him into the library, he does a bunch of magic finger snapping, and they are wearing the gold gown/black coat from t he animated movie!!
Also, he mentions they've been married for a day

Swann and family are having a family stroll. They try to call Regina
Grumpy runs in and tells them about the ice

Flashback
Elsa is sad, Ana reads the diary, Elsa blames herself for their parents leaving
Ana says her future in laws can help them find out what really happened with the parents

Now
Elsa running from Swann and Hook

"Evil snowman!! Run!!"
Elsa sees a newspaper that tells us Belle's last name is French
Sydney is happy to serve Regina.
She puts him back in the mirror. He freaks out. "Relax, it's just temporary"

Marian chides Regina and says if she had a family, she wouldn't be doing these bad things

Meanwhile, Elsa hides in alleyways and look for safety in Mr Gold's shop

Flashback
Elsa looks for Ana in the stables (hello Sven and Kristoff!)
Kristoff is a great distractor. "Do you want to see the floral arrangements?"

Now
"It's some kind of snow monster"
They tell Emma to use her magic because swords and Hook's cunning wit is not helping
Marshmallow rages, spikes appear, roars and knocks everyone out
The monster almost kills Marian, Regina almost let it but she has a change of heart
Emma says to Hook "you want to go home and see what's on Netflix?"
Hook: I don't know what that is, but sure
They talk, she kisses him, tells him to be patient, he says "I have all the time in the word. Unless another monster appears and kills me"
Emma visits Regina's office and she's sitting on the floor with her back against the door. (Very similar to the 'Do you want to build a snowman' song)
Something about happy endings
Sydney: I could probably tell you you're wearing too much eye make up
Regina wants to find the writer of the magic book
Something about villains getting their happy endings (Halloween episode anyone?)

Belle sleeping, Rumple takes the dagger back out and touches a weird swirly magical thing with it
It turns into a magician's hat (Merlin? Will you appear?)

Elsa still looking for Hook, breaks into his shop
She's looking for the snowflake necklace she gave her sister

Flashback
Elsa and Kristoff still looking for Ana on the docks
Kristoff tells Elsa that Ana didn't want Elsa to be alone
Ana is wearing her winter clothes outfit
Kristoff tells Elsa that Misthaven is also known as "the Enchanted Forest"



Episode ends with Elsa holding the necklace saying that she will find Ana

03.12 New York Serenade

Let's hope this episode gives us a recap because it has been a long time since the last episode.

One year ago
Phillip rides on horse towards a gazebo where Aurora is waiting for him and preparing a picnic. (Hidden Mickey alert!!) She is pregnant and cranky. A magic purple cloud appears and rushes over them. The Storybrooke crew arrive in their fairy tale garb.
Aurora: Snow, what happened?
Snow: We're back :(
(I spy the dwarfs, Hook, Charming, Snow, Grandma, Red, Baefire, Regina, and Belle)


Opening title sequence: NY Skyline

Our world one year later
Emma wearing very high heels and a very short dress going to a restaurant to meet Auggie Anderson (from Covert Affairs! I totally love him!) They kiss and hug.
He asks about Henry and a school project. They eat. He leaves and Hook appears in his spot.
She calls him a stalker. "Emma, your parents are in great danger."
He hands her a paper "Take a gander, here's an address."

Enchanted Forest
Snow asks about the land. Ogres defeated. Aurora pregnant.
Snow wants Regina's castle. But she wants to join forces with Regina.
Aurora: You know we can't pretend this didn't happen. They've returned, we have to tell her
Phillip: Aurora, we can't. You know what will happen to them, what she'll do.
Aurora: We both know if she ever found out we hid this, she would take it out on our child. We have to trust they can take care of themselves

Real World
He comes back and they bring out an ice cream sundae. He mentions their first date. She looks at the plate and sees a ring. He asks her to marry him. "I love Henry, I love our lives together"
Here I thought the worst thing you can do is say no. Didn't think you were going to walk out on the bill.
She says it's too fast. They've only been together 8 months. "I've had leftovers in my fridge longer than that"
"I know, I threw it out."
He tells her he's known since she walked into his furniture shop. And he sped up her order because "It seemed like the most un-stalkery way to ask you out"
"I don't care if we get married when we are 65 years old and Henry already have kids"
(Marry him Emma!! He is adorable and he loves Henry and you!!!)

She goes home and sees Henry playing Diablo 3. "So what did you say to Walsh?"
He knew, he figured it out. "So what did you say? ...Poor guy."
(Henry has gotten older in this break. He's so cute!)
He wants his mom to marry Walsh and tells her that he's not like her dad
Emma: When did you get so wise?
Henry: Somewhere after level 16 when I became a knight

Perfect segue

Enchanted Forest
Dwarfs hanging out. Jiminy flies onto Grumpy's shoulder and they converse.
52 Storybrooke people popped up not 2 miles from where they are
Hook doesn't plan to go with them to Regina's castle. He's going to go look for the Jolly Rodger
(Snow looks pregnant but it could be just the clothes)
Bae asks to go to his dad's place on the way to "the queen's castle"
He wants to go to check
They have to live without Emma and Henry

Real World
Henry asks his mom if she's okay and if she's thinking about Walsh.
She goes to the apartment that Hook gave her. It's Neil's apartment. She sees a dreamcatcher and  realizes it's Neil. She also finds a camera strap with Henry's name on it. "That's..not possible!"
Hook tells her that her parents and the kingdom is back in Storybrooke

Enchanted Forest
Belle tells Charming Rumple might be alive
Snow is sad about going to the castle
Regina goes missing. Snow finds her. "what are you burying?
She's burying a heart. (It's Regina's heart) Because she misses Henry
Snow wants Regina to take her heart back. She tries to give Regina happiness by being her family.
She picks up the heart and puts it back inside. "Now, let's get back to our castle"
(Why do all the girls have low cut dresses? Ugh. - Except Snow)
Something was spying on them and flys out of the bushes. IT'S A FLYING MONKEY!!!!!!!
Robin Hood saves them. (OMG Regina's man!!!!!!)

Real World
Henry asks what Emma is going to say. He set up a date for Walsh and Emma for that night.
Emma tells him to go up without her. She pulls out the pictures she developed from the camera she got from Neil's place.
Hook gets out of jail. Emmas shows her the pictures. They are pictures of them in Storybrooke and a plane ride from Boston to New York. He hands her the memory potion.
She drinks it......"Hook!"
"Did you miss me?"

Enchanted Forest
Robin Hood and Bae greet each other. Belle says hello and gets a hug from Robin.
Regina is eyeing Robin from the front of the pack.
Snow: He's kinda cute huh?
Regina: He smells like forest
They arrive at the castle and find a (green) protection spell on her castle
"Someone hijacked it"
"Nobody sits in my chair! Nobody steals our castle!"
(She said 'our'!!!!)

Real World
Hook: Snow and the queen settled their differences. Frankly, I was bored
Emma: Glad to see you haven't changed
Hook: There wasn't anything for me in the Enchanted Forest so I stayed. Until I got a message saying there's a new curse that will bring everybody back to Storybrooke
They talk

Walsh arrives and she goes down to see him. She tells him she can't marry him
"I need to go home to go take care of somethings"
(I wish I had Emma's hair. It's so long and wavy)
He tries to convince her to stay.
Walsh: I wish you hadn't drank that potion
Emma: What? Who are you?
He falls off the room when he lunges at her and comes back as a flying monkey. She throws him off the roof and he poofs away.
To Hook: We leave in the morning.

Next morning, Emma is making breakfast. (I notice that she's dressing more girly. Right now, she's wearing a skirt and very high heels and a shirt with ruffles. Very fashionable)
She asks Henry to skip school and go on a trip.
Hook knocks on the door.
Emma: Henry, this is Killian
Henry: Did you skip bail?
Hook: He's still a little spitfire
Henry: Still? Why are you dressed like that?
Hook: Why are you dressed like that?? >:(
Henry's voice changed. It cracks now.
Emma: I just need one last thing. She goes to her closet and gets the red leather jacket.
She drives to Storybrooke in her yellow bug. Why isn't Henry in the car? Oh wait, he's sleeping in the back seat. "It's really back!"
Stay here and watch Henry. Don't wake him. Or scare him. Just let him sleep
She goes to knock on a door and Charming opens it.
He is speechless....
Emma!
David?!
You remember!

We're back and feels like the last year has never happened.
Emma: If you can't remember, how do you know it's been a year?
Snow comes down the stairs and hugs Emma.
She's pregnant

Enchanted Forest
Flying monkey comes back with a few drops of Regina's blood on his claws.
Wicked Witch: The queen may be evil, but I'm wicked. And wicked always wins.


So it looks like this half of the season will be flashes between what happened in that one year since they left Storybrooke leading up to now. We will be flashing to the Enchanted Forest and seeing the shenanigans with the Wicked Witch and also seeing how Emma is dealing with everyone being back in present time. At least now we know what Aurora was hiding (the fact the Witch is there.) 

Once Upon a Time Season 3 Ep 11 Going Home

03.11 Going Home

Opening title sequence: Emma's yellow bug driving through green fog.

The gang devises a plan to save Henry and kill Pan before the curse gets enacted. Hook, Neal, and David have to go to the Blue Fairy and get the wand of the Dark Fairy from her in order to switch Henry and Pan back. Tink bravely fights and destroys Pan's shadow and in turn, she gains her wings back and revives the Blue fairy.

Rumple uses the dark wand to put Henry-Pan to sleep and to switch their bodies back. He stays behind to have a "talk" with his father while everyone else goes out to look for Henry. Pan revives and takes away Rumple's powers.

Regina gets her hands on the scroll that created the curse and finds out what she has to do. She has to destroy Storybrooke and in turn, taking away everyone's memories. But Emma and Henry can't go back to the Enchanted Forest because that is the price that she (Regina) has to pay.

Rumple comes out to see what has to happen, he takes out his "Dark One" dagger and kills Pan with it. And in turn, he dies too. Belle sobs a the spot where Rumple was (both men disappeared.)

Everyone says good bye to Emma and Henry at the town line. Regina gives them new memories of their years together (Emma never gave up Henry). The mother and son drive away while behind them, Storybrooke vanishes including the line where the dwarfs had drawn the town line.

One year later....
We see Emma and Henry's new life. They are in the apartment that Emma was in at the beginning of the show and they have cool appliances and a great life together. Someone knocks on the door during breakfast and we see that it's Hook. He tries to get in and tell Emma that her parents are in danger but she defends himself and kicks him. She closes the door and returns to Henry. "It was nobody"


I didn't get to watch the preview but everyone seems to know that Oz is coming next. And the OUAT Facebook page shows a picture of the Green witch and it says "Wicked always wins"
We saw a car that looked exactly like Emma's yellow bug while we were in the Disneyland parking lot. This was before I finished the episode. It would have been so much more significant to me if I had seen the ending.

Once Upon a Time Season 3 Ep 10 The New Neverland

03.10 The New Neverland

Storybrooke:
On the docks, Ariel and Belle are looking for Eric.
He recognizes her!!
They reconcile.
Belle suddenly sees Hook's ship appearing from the sky
"He's back!"

Opening Title Sequence: Medusa!

*Cheering* Everyone is happy that Emma and pals are back
They are greeted by Granny, the Dwarfs, the Blue Fairy, Belle, and Ariel+Eric
Snow sees Ariel (for the first time this season) and is surprised to see her there
Regina is standing all alone with no one to greet her
Belle greets Rumple
Peter and Michael greet Wendy and Bae.
Everyone is reuniting and happy

Flashback:
Back to Snow and Charming's wedding...again
Snow is angry that Regina is going to ruin their lives (still)
Charming suggests going on their honeymoon (we know what he wants)
Snow wants to go to the summer palace "it's where my parents spent their honeymoon"

Storybrooke:
Pan-Henry gets Felix put in jail
Rumple and the gang lock the Pandora's Box away safely back in the shop

Belle ties Rumple's tie for him and says "so what now?" (I hear wedding bells!)

Emma gives Pan-Henry the story book and since he is Pan, he doesn't know what it is
Hook is looking at the exchange between the mother and son
Bae appears and Hook tells him that he'll back off from Emma
"Devilishly handsome pirate standing in the way"
"You serious?"
"Yeah, I am devilishly handsome"

Tink and Regina ask the Blue Fairy to give back her wings.
If you don't even believe in yourself, how can I?

Bae asks Emma to talk
"Are you trying to ask me out on a date?"
"Tomorrow around lunch time, I'm going to be hungry and sitting in that booth"

Flashback:
Charming carries Snow across the threshold
(I am just cracking up here because she is so bundled up that she looks like a pile of blankets with a head)
Charming tries to take of Snow's cloak. But she says "not right now"
When he goes outside, she takes off her cloak and reveals that she's wearing her "hunting" gear
He stops her in the woods and she tells him about her plan of using Medusa

Storybrooke:
Henry asks to spend the night with Regina instead of with Emma
Snow tells her not to worry

Pan-Henry asks Regina if her magic is in her vault and that he needs the magic to protect himself
She says magic is not the answer and that she will protect him
Pan-Henry releases the shadow from the ship's sail

Flashback:
Charming is hacking through the forest
They find the "cave" but it's more like a mausoleum

Storybrooke:
Charming and Snow are eating lunch at Granny's
Rumple appears and hands him the antidote to the magic Neverland water
Nothing in return
"But we are family now. So if i ever need a favor, you'll be more receptive"
He drinks it. Snow "How do you feel?"
He feels great and kisses her
(They're probably going to go make a baby now)
He says "Let's go get started on that family"
Snow looks sad because she sees Neal all by himself and that Emma didn't show up

David goes to find her
She is off by the beach checking her phone
She has a feeling that something bad has happened
He convinces her to go eat with Neal
"Are you sure you're not trying to...keep me away from Hook?"
"You think I'm interested in Hook? Emma, I'm a married man!"

Hook bumps into Tink and tries to get with her.
They hear a scream and see that Pan's shadow is terrorizing the Blue Fairy
It rips out her shadow and kills her
Regina tells Henry to follow her

Flashback:
Charming and Snow enter Medusa's lair
"How are we supposed to find her?"
*SCREAM*
(Me: Found her!)
He draws her out and Snow tries to cut off her head but the sword breaks
He sees a helmet and throws it the opposite direction to distract her. As they run, Snow gets captured
Charming gets turned into stone in an effort to save her

Storybrooke:
They're all standing over the dead fairy
Regina takes Henry to her vault.
Emma asks Regina to keep an eye on Henry because he's not himself
She said something about "my son too" "10 years" "our son"

Flashback:
Evil Queen talks to snow using a nearby reflective shield.
Snow uses it the way Perseus did
Medusa sees herself and turns to stone
Charming comes back to life
Snow says something about losing him
He says something about having an idea of what they can do (bow chika wowow)

Storybrooke:
The gang goes to Rumple to get the box
They have an idea to release Pan across the town lines and for Emma to shoot him
Pan comes out of the box and says he's Henry
Prove it. "I got trapped in the mines, I tried blowing up the world, I like hot cocoa with cinnamon"
"This proves nothing!"
Emma tests him "The first time you and I connected. Not when we met, but when we connected"
In his castle. "I know why you gave me up"
They hug
(Belle and Rumple! Belle and Rumple! Belle and Rumple!!)

Pan-Henry is looking at some magic that Regina has on the walls
They hug, he drugs her and she faints

Flashback:
Snow is lounging
They talk about why Snow keeps wanting to get rid of Regina
It's because she doesn't want to bring a child in the world where Regina exists
"Let's start now" something about making good moments
"What better way of making a good moment than creating a child"

Storybrooke:
Henry tells Rumple to not hit his face when throwing fireballs
He sees Bae and hugs him.
They can't get into the vault
Yay Rumple opens it!
Snow is the first to run to Regina's aide
Rumple revives her
"I just wanted to believe that he still needed me to be his mother"
Henry-Pan "I still do"

Pan-Henry broke Felix out of jail
He stole the curse. Everyone would forget who they are, time would stand still, and we would be in charge.
It's going to be the New Neverland.
(And now it doesn't have to be on an island!)

Once Upon a Time Season 3 Ep 9 Save Henry

03.09 Save Henry

Flashback: We are back in the Enchanted Forest and the curse is just arriving. Regina and the then entrapped Rumple are conversing in the dungeon. He tells her that something is missing which she denies. They discuss things. Rumple giggles sa lot.

Opening title sequence: A dark cloud forms around the edges then Pan's shadow flies overhead

Neverland:
The parents are all worried over Henry. Pan lands and sneers at Emma while she tries to stab him. Pan flies off.

11 Years Ago:
Regina is sitting at her desk signing papers and Archie is standing  in front of her. They speak.  He tells her that having a child might fill the hole she has insde of her. She goes to Gold for him to get her a child.

Neverland:
They try to figure out where Pan went. Regina tells Emma that she has everything (parents, "this guy", and a pirate who pines for you) while she has no one but Henry.
The group is back at Pan's camp looking for him, Regina threatens Felix for information. Emma offers a better alternative: a mother.

Flashback:
Gold lets Regina know that an adoption nearby fell through so the baby boy is in need of a home. That and the the agency is in Boston.
Regina is sitting at a desk with a man who holds the fate of her motherhood in his hands. He tells her that she has a reat resume and that it will be a closed adoption. She accepts and excitedly awaits the arrival of her new baby boy who she immediately names Henry.  "Come on Henry, let's go home"

Neverland:
Emma is talking softly to the lost boys and saying that she too was a lost girl and that they will bring all the boys back to their land with them if they tell her where Pan is. Felix is relentless. One of the younger boys "can you really bring us home?" He's at his thinking tree.

Flashback:
Regina is having problems with Henry because he won't stop crying. She thinks there's something wrong with him and demands Dr. Whale to do more tests. He tells her that she needs the biological parents to see medical history.
While she's on the phone with Sydney (demanding the name of the parents), she hands the baby to Mary Margaret who calms Henry right away.

Neverland:
They formulate a plan to find Pan.
Neal: guard Henry's body
Parents: gather up the lost boys and prepare the Jolly Roger to fly
Hook: we need the Pegasus sail. Neal: I have Pan's shadow, we're fine.
Snow: something about spending time with her daughter.

Flashback:
Regina begs Henry to stop crying "and I'll do anything for you"
Henry stops crying when she bounces him up and down and sings for him
Meanwhile, Sydney gets infromation on the mother and faxes it over to Regina.
She goes to Gold and says Henry's mother wwas found in the woods outside of Storybrook 18 years ago.
Regina accuses Gold of the whole plan. He pretends not to remember.
"Henry will go back to Boston tomorrow!!"

Neverland:
The three women (Emma, Snow, and Regina) arrive at the Thinking Tree and sees the Pandora's Box sitting out on a rock. Emma warns of a trap. Snow tries to grab it and magic vines tie them to a nearby tree.
Pan appears "You're mothers. Quite tenatious about their offspring."
If you want to see Henry again, there's only one place you will be reunited: in death.

Flashback:
Regina arrives back at the adoption agency and hands Henry over.
She looks at Henry, he smiles up at her and coos. She decides not to give him up.
Turns out, the couple who was going to receive Henry after she gave him up was Michael and John.

Neverland:
Pan reveals to the women that the tree they are tied to is the tree where he lost his son.
They discover that Rumple is Pan's son.
The tree attacks people who have regrets. Regina tells him that she has done terrible things but she has no regrets because it got her her son. They escape the tree and Regina grabs Henry's heart back.
Back on the Jolly Roger: Regina puts Henry's heart back in. They all wait for him to wake up. He wake up and hugs his mothers. His family greets him.

Flashback:
Archie visits Regina and is happy for her that things worked out.
Regina is worried that the birth mother might come and take Henry back.
Archie tells her to enjoy the moments she has now. Revel in being a mother.
She visits her dad's grave and thanks him.
She then tells Henry a story about a queen who enacted revenge but was searching for a little boy.
While telling the story, she brews an "ancient potion of forgetting" so that her past worries won't bother her anymore. So that she and her little prince can finally live happily ever after.
She drinks the potion and smiles.

Neverland:
Regina is sitting with Henry. It is a very touching moment with her showing her mother side.
She puts a spell so that no one can ever take his heart again. "Thanks mom"
Pan appears after Regina leaves the room.

Meanwhile on the deck, Neal lets Rumple out of the box. He smiles and hugs his father. They reconcile. "You're not the same, you came back for me Papa."
Rumple senses Pan's presence.
Peter tries to pry Henry's heart out. When that fails, he tries to take Henry's shadow. Rumple appears "Blood magic works both ways, father." He puts Pan into the box.
Regina runs in with worry on her face. "He's a strong boy Regina, you raised him well"

Up on deck, everyone is preparing to ship off. They light a cannon and releases Pan's shadow in front of it. Regina uses her magic to turn the shadow into one of the sails.
David tells Emma that she did a good job by suggesting that they all needed to work together. All they needed was a leader.
Tink and Wendy talk. Wendy gives Tink the last bit of pixie dust left from the flowers on the tree.
Henry comes out of the cabin's quarters and talks to his dad. "Henry, I want you to know that you have a dad now. Now and forever."
Regina tells Tink that she was right in saying that she would find someone to love.
Everyone seems to be having a heart to heart right now.
Henry tries to feed Felix and thank him. Henry: Pan never fails.
Somehow, Pan switched places with Henry during their struggle.

Once Upon a Time Season 3 Ep 8 Think Lovely Thoughts

03.08 Think Lovely Thoughts

Flashback:
A man is tricking people with the "find the Jack" card game. His son tries to stop him from being beat up.

Opening title sequence: Skull Rock

Neverland:
Pan is tucking Wendy into a bed. Henry asks if it would help Wendy if he saves magic.
Peter announces to the lost boys that "tonight, Henry saves magic!"

Flashback:
The man brings the boy into a room with two women on spinning wheels.
Turns out, the boy is Rumplestiltskin. "These two women will take care of you"
Before his dad leaves him, he gives Rumple the little corn husk voodoo looking doll that Peter threw at Rumple earlier in the season.

Neverland:
Snow tells Emma that she and Charming plan to stay on the island. Emma is the one who says "there's always a way"
The "cavalry" hear rustling in the woods, turns out to be Regina and Rumple.
They plan to trap Pan for eternity by putting him in the Pandora's Box.
The crew finds out that Rumple plans to kill Henry.
Everyone pulls out their weapons: Hook's sword, Emma's sword, Charming's sword, and Snow's arrows

Flashback:
The two women discuss Rumple's gift for spinning. 
They give him a magic bean to go to a different place where no one will know his father's name.

Neverland:
Neal tells Rumple that the only way they can work together if he gives him the Pandora's Box
Rumple: Peter Pan destroyed my father

Flashback:
Rumple finds his dad at the pub playing the card game again.
He wants his dad to go with him using the magic bean. "Think lovely thoughts!"
His dad talks about the invention of Neverland. When he (the dad) was young, he would go to a magical place in his dreams.
They jump into the portal.

Neverland:
Hook talks to Emma about the magic water that saved David. Rumple says he can make an elixir to save David. Neal tells his dad that no deal, Rumple will make the thing without asking for anything in return "because it's the right thing."
As they near the camp, Rumple takes the sword out of Hook's belt and says "I'm not walking in there with nothing but my good looks."
Hook: Well, I on the other hand--
David: Here, in case your good looks fail you *throws a sword at him*
As they enter the camp, the realize that Henry isn't with the lost boys. But they do find Wendy.
Turns out, Wendy and Neal know each other. 

Flashback:
The father and son pair land on a beach.
Neverland is special, just think anything and you can do it.
Best of all, you can fly! But they need pixie dust.
Pan's shadow stalks them

Neverland:
Wendy lies to the grownups about knowing about the existence of Henry.
They tell Wendy about their interaction with John and Michael.
She tells them that Peter needs Henry's heart to save himself.
Pan's dying and needs Henry's heart to absorb all the magic in Neverland. 
When Pan lives, Henry will die.

Elsewhere, Peter and Henry arrive on Skull Rock. Peter draws a line in the sand to create a protection spell.

Emma's optimism seems to be all over the place. "We're all going back home, together"

Flashback:
The pair almost reach the location of the pixie dust.
They reach a tree and he says "we're here"
The flowers on the top of the tree at night, they bloom with the stars.
Rumple's father is trying to force him to climb the tree but climbs it himself instead.
While up on the tree, he spots a flower and puts some pixie dust on himself "I want to fly!"
The dust doesn't work and the dark shadow stalking them shows up and tells him that he doesn't belong on the island.

Neverland:
Rumple, Regina, Emma, and Neal arrive on Skull Rock. They get stopped by the protection spell.
Turns out, Rumple can go in because no one with a shadow can go through the spell.
Rumple easily steps in and gets the box from them. Regina threatens to hurt Rumple if Henry is hurt. Rumple goes on.
Emma suggests blocking out the moon so that no shadow appears. Regina and Emma use magic to cause an eclipse.

Henry and Peter arrive in the heart of the rock and there is a giant, magical hourglass in the middle.
Peter tells Henry that it marks how much time is left until the magic runs out.
Pan hears a noise and freaks out, he tells Henry to sit down and then walks off.

Flashback:
Rumple is crying beneath the tree because his dad hadn't come back. But his dad arrives just in time.
His dad says he got the dust but it doesn't work on adults
He says that the only thing holding him down on the island, preventing him from feeling young again is: him (Rumple).
He lets the shadow have Rumple and the dust overcomes him and turns him into Peter Pan!!!!

Neverland:
Peter: You traded your son for a dagger. And I traded you for youth.
Rumple: I regretted my son the moment I let him go.
Peter: I never forgot about you! Why do you think I call myself Peter Pan?
Rumple: I'm going to make a fresh start, just not with you. *tries to open the box but it doesn't work*
Peter has the real one. He opens the box and sucks Rumple in.

Flashback:
Rumple goes back to the two spinning women.
He gave the doll the name "Peter Pan"
Peter flies to Skull Rock and sees the hourglass. The shadow appears and talks to him.
"It represents the magic fueling your youth. The magic allowing you to stay here, to stay young."
When it runs out, "Your youth will be taken and you will die"

Neverland:
Peter tells Henry to give him his heart.
Like.....
Literally.....
Pan tells Henry that he has to stay on the island forever and can never leave.
He uses magic to get Henry to pull his own heart out.
Peter greets Baefire, The Savior, and The Evil Queen.
They try to convince Henry to not give away the heart because it'll kill him.
Pan tells Henry that they're lying to him because adults lie.
They say "I believe in you too, but I have to save magic, I'm sorry."
He shoves his heart into Peter and a green woosh goes across the island (kinda like when Emma broke the curse and it was a bluish purple light that went woosh.)
Peter smirks and begins to fly.




This is such a cliffhanger!! This is the biggest piece of news ever. I am so shocked at the real identity of Pan! And the fact that they are all related, man the creators are insanely genius!

Once Upon a Time Season 3 Ep 7 Dark Hollow

03.07 Dark Hollow

Five Days Ago:
Flashback to when Rumple said goodbye to Belle. We see that Rumple gave Belle a cloaking spell to hide Storybrooke from "others." We see two guys driving towards the town. The dwarfs (plus Belle, the Blue Fairy, and Archie) go down to the mine to open a vein of pixie dust. The two men have the key chain of a teddy bear hanging on their rear view mirror. I'm guessing it's John and Michael (Wendy's brothers.) Belle casts the spell and a magical light appears and creates a dome around Storybrooke, the two boys drive faster to beat the spell and they get in just in time. (But lose their back bumper)

Opening title sequence: The town's library

Today:
Rumple drawing a map in the sand for Ariel. He tells Ariel to find Belle in Storybrooke and give her a sand dollar "she'll know what to do."

We see Pan getting a feeling that "someone's leaving Neverland."

Neal needs to find Pan's shadow to fly off the island.

They split up. Charming and Snow going to find Tink to get ready to head into Pan's camp.
Neal, Emma, and Hook go get Pan's shadow.

Storybrooke:
The dwarfs are eating lunch by the beach and spot Ariel in the water.

The guy in the glasses (I'm guessing John) is so hot!!

Ariel finds Belle in the diner and hands her the sand dollar.
Belle puts the sand dollar on the table and sees a hologram with a message.
She is ecstatic because "he wants my help!"

Neverland:
Back at the camp, Snow is giving Charming the cold shoulder treatment.

Henry accuses Pan of keeping the existence of his family on the island from him.
Felix worries that they're losing Henry

Hook tells Neal about the kiss that he shared with Emma
Turns out, the coconut is not a star map, but a thing used to trap Pan's shadow
They need to go to Dark Hollow "Why couldn't it be called something like Sunshine Valley or Rainbow Cove?"

Storybrooke:
Ariel: Look at this stuff!
*holding a corkscrew* (aka a thingamabob!)
Ariel: *finds a button* It's the one Eric on his button when I saved him!
Belle finds Chip (the teacup) and puts it back in it's original spot. They discover a door on the floor. 
Inside is PANDORA'S BOX!
Ariel: Shouldn't you be wearing gloves or something? (how does she know what gloves are?)

John and Michael show up with guns
They tie the girls up and steal the box
The boys say they know that their boss is Peter Pan

Neverland:
Pan tells Felix to "Head to the other side and deliver the supplies" "Just be certain Henry doesn't find out what you're up to"

HOOK AND EMMA MOMENT! HOOK AND EMMA MOMENT!!
Hook tells Emma that she has to choose between him and Neal.

Dark Hollow, it doesn't look that dark, it's all red and stuff.

Storybrooke:
Ariel and Belle (my two favorite princesses btw) are still tied up.
They take off Ariel's magic bracelet and escape!

Neverland:
They are in the cave and get attacked by Pan's shadow, Emma uses magic to light the coconut instead of trying to choose between saving Neal or Hook

Storybrooke:
Belle and Ariel go down to the dwarfs' mine because a dwarf's pickax can break something magical like that.
Belle tells them to stop because some people they care about will die/get hurt if they don't get the box.
John and Michael say that someone THEY care about will get hurt if they don't break the box (I'm guessing, this is Wendy they're talking about?)
Yup, their sister. "Her name is Wendy. Wendy Darling"

They get the box back, Belle bids Ariel good bye and good luck.

Neverland:
Pan opens the other cage where Wendy is and lets her out to "play."
Henry follows Felix to a tree house and Felix drops a bag of food and walks away.
Henry gets the bag and climbs up the ladder to find Wendy in a bed acting sick.
Wendy tells Henry that the magic on the island is fading and that he looks like his father.
She tells him that the lack of magic is what is making her ill.
(This must be Pan's plot to get Henry to stay and help)
Peter applauds Wendy and then "back to your cage"

Ariel delivers the box and gives Rumple the message to save Wendy 

Emma is mad at the boys for fighting over a lighter. She tells them that she chooses Henry.
Everyone shows up at Tink's camp. She is happy to see Neal

Henry asks Pan "So I'm the only who can save magic?"
Peter leads Henry to a cliff where Skull Rock is visible.
Inside is their salvation, where only the heart of the truest believer can bring.
"Are you up to the task [Henry]?"
"Yes"



Dun Dun Dunnnnn. It will begin soon!!! 
Charming and Snow were so insignificant in this episode (in my opinion) that I barely even mentioned them. 
I'm glad that Neal and Emma haven't turned into the annoyance that Snow and Charming are.

Once Upon a Time Season 3 Ep 6 Ariel

03.06 Ariel

Ariel is my favorite princess hands down, so I'm excited for this episode. Although seeing Regina as Ursula (in the previews) kind of freak me out.

And yet again, here we are, another episode, another hour of listening to Snow and Charming whine and complain about stuff.


Flashback:
Snow is hiding in the forest, running from the Queen's men. She reaches a cliff and jumps off straight into the water. She is saved by someone (with man hands) and it turns out to be a mermaid, Ariel! 

Opening title sequence: Ariel sitting on a rock, flipping her tail

Neverland:
Emma is staring at a firepit, Regina is telling her to concentrate. Is she trying to set it on fire? Yup, she is. Regina is training Emma to do magic. Hook shows up at the camp and tells Emma's parents that Neil is alive. Snow wants to tell Emma but Hook and Charming don't. 

Flashback: 
Ariel asks Snow why she jumped off the cliff. Snow says that being chased by an evil queen causes her to do crazy things. Ariel says that she gets that feeling too because she's "on the run to someone."
His name, of course: Prince Eric!
And a human!
Their backstory: Ariel saved Eric when his ship wrecked a year ago. They never spoke but she knew. Love at first sight.
Ariel dumps out her bag of collectibles and shows Snow an invitation at Eric's castle for that night, it's a ball celebrating/honoring the sea goddess Ursula for that night. Snow asks how Ariel intends to meet him at the ball when she has a tail. Ariel lifts her tail out of the water, smoke, it becomes legs!! And she's wearing a shiny blue skirt (like the one at the end of the movie.) Apparently, every year at high tide, Ursula grants mermaids the ability to walk on land from high tide to high tide. She says it only gives her 12 hours time. Snow says she should ask for more time. But no one has seen Ursula for 1000 years. Snow promises to help Ariel get her prince.

Neverland:
The boys prepare to leave, Emma appears and Snow blurts out that Neil is alive. Thanks a lot Snow! Emma is skeptical for a second.

Rumple: Trying to do a spell or something, trying to see the future (according to Pan.) Pan tells Rumple to leave the island but he doesn't want to leave Neil nor Henry behind.
Go back to Belle. Have a future. Maybe a new child.

Regina goes off by herself to find Henry while the others plan to go save Neil.

Flashback:
The two girls are at the ball. How the heck did they get dresses?!? The dresses look....not appropriate. Snow taught Ariel about forks and she puts it into her pocket. Eric comes down the stairs and smiles at Ariel. As she walks towards him, she trips and he asks her to dance.He remembers her as the same person who saved him from the shipwreck. She says she's new in town so it's impossible. He claims that Ursula is the one who saved him and gave him the vision of Ariel. Eric tells her that the next day, he is going off the explore the world. From the desert of this world to Agrabah. He asks her to come along and that he'll wait for her the next morning before he heads out. The dance ends. Snow is confused at Ariel's distress.
Regina is watching from a magic mirror.

Neverland: 
Pan and Felix watch as Snow, Emma, and others search for Neil. They decide to move Neil to the Echo Cave. "The game is about to get interesting."

Rumple sees Belle who tells him to go back to Storybrooke and that they can start a new family. Regina shows up in time to choke Belle and show Rumple that it's Pan's shadow.

Emma tells Snow that she kissed Hook.
Snow asks if it meant anything.
"It was just a kiss"
"I'm sure Neil will understand"

Flashback:
Ariel regrets meeting up with Eric because she can't make him choose between traveling or staying with her.
Snow gives Ariel the advice to be honest and open up her heart to love.
Ariel stands at the ocean and talks to the ocean, addressing Ursula, and asks what she should do.
As she throws a pebble into the water, tentacles appear and it is Regina posing as Ursula. (Looks gross but kinda cool. Plus she pronounces her name Ah-riel like Sebastian does!) 

Neverland:
Rumple asks why Regina is there with him. 
They come up with the idea of "a fate worse than death."
They need something in Rumple's shop that will solve their problem
That way, Rumple won't have to die and they don't kill Pan.

Flashback:
Ariel is still in disbelief that Ursula is in front of her
(Pausing: can see the zipper on the back of the Ursula costume.)
"My dear, sweet child, don't fret!" Sounds exactly like in the movie!!
Ursula says that there's a way for Ariel to be "part of his world" forever without ever telling him that she's a mermaid
Ariel shows Snow a bracelet (with lots of seashells) that turns Snow into a mermaid
Ariel tells Snow that she could have a wonderful life "under the sea"
Snow tells Ariel that Ursula is not real, and Regina appears in the Evil Queen getup. Devastates Ariel

Neverland: 
The gang show up at the cave, Echo Cave, and Hook says the only way to rescue someone from the cave is with a secret
"The cave demands that you reveal a truth about yourself, a secret you would never admit to anyone"
Pan wants them to go in the cave so that they'll reveal their secrets and their secrets will destroy them (he doesn't even have to lift a finger!)

Flashback:
The wearer of the magic bracelet can't take it off
Ariel is devastated that she has ruined Snow's chances of being free
Snow tells her to go off and get a chance at happiness
I just realized that they're standing on a dock, why are they at a dock? So random!
Ariel says sorry and then walks off (to find Eric.)
Regina chokes Snow, Ariel comes back and stabs Regina with a fork.
She takes of the bracelet and turns back into the mermaid, they swim away

Neverland:
They enter the cave
It's just a chasm with Neil's cage in the middle of the of the cave
Hook steps up and tells the first secret: I kissed Emma
He never expected to find anyone who he could love again after Mila
A bridge slowly appears
Snow: Feels cheated out of Emma's childhood, she wants another child so she could experience it all
More bridge
Charming: he'd love that but it could never happen with him because the anecdote for the dreamshade prevents from leaving Neverland because he'll die
The bridge is complete. Emma goes across
Emma needs to tell her secret to open the cage Neil is in
Emma: when she found out Neil was still alive, she wasn't happy, she felt terrified because from the moment she saw him again in New York, she realized she never stopped loving him. She says that she loves him but her secret is that she was hoping the fact Neil was alive was a trick because she doesn't want to go through all that heartbreak again. (Cage disappears, they hug.)
They exit the cave, Neil says he knows how to get off the island if they can find Henry.
Hook: let's go find Tinker Bell and get off this island
FINALLY SOME PROGRESS
Neil says he'll never stop fighting for Emma
Snow: not now!

Flashback:
Snow tells Ariel to go tell Eric the truth (I saw the way he looked at you, he'll wait as long as possible)
The background music sounds like something from the movie
Eric: just a little longer
Ariel appears at the castle but can't seem to scream out Eric's name (she loses her voice!!)
"Eric! Eric! Nooo Eric!!"
Regina took her voice. Taking away Ariel's chance at true love
Ariel cries and swims off
Regina returns to her castle and is greeted by the Ursula statute from Eric's palace. (They're communicating by mirror, is this the new thing?)
Ursula threatens Regina and tells her never to impersonate her again.

Neverland:
On the beach where the giant squid was, Regina picks up the seashell
"I have no intention of summoning calamaria"
She whispers into the shell and summons.............Ariel!!!
"Hello Ariel, long time!" 
Apparently, mermaids can travel between realms. Regina plans to send Ariel to Storybrooke to retrieve the thing from Mr. Gold's shop.
Regina returns her voice to her (she hasn't had it for this long???)
She tells Ariel that Eric is in Storybrook (okay this, I did not know.)

Roll credits...

I hate all the cut scenes. It gives us about 2 minutes with each plot line. I'm tired of this. I'm also wondering now that Neil and Emma are back together again, what are the chances of TWO whiny couples on this show?

Once Upon a Time Season 3 Ep 5 Good Form

03.05 Good Form

The Lost Boys drag Neil into a cage and Felix says "you heard Pan, you know what to do with him."

One of the lost boys poke Henry with a spear and they begin to spar. Pan interrupts and tells Henry to visualize holding a real sword. (He does, and the stick he's holding becomes a sword - this proves his power as the truest believer)

Title sequence: The Jolly Roger

Neverland:
Back in Neil's cave, Emma and Hook look at Neil's bed and sees markings on the wall with tally marks on it. Emma says that he stopped counting because he lost hope.
Hook tries to comfort Emma but she turns him down and walks away. Charming says that Emma will never like him because he's nothing but a pirate.

Flashback:
A ship: Jewel Realm.
Hook is in charge and wearing a uniform.
He confiscates rum from a sailor and throws it into the sea.
Turns out, the captain is his older brother.
His brother gives him a sexton with directions to an unknown land.

Neverland:
Hook tells Charming that he knows a way to save him from the dreamshade poison.
He passes out because the dreamshade is getting closer to his heart.
He bends down and sees a leather strap with a military insignia with the name "Jones" on it. (Hook's brother)
They plan to go to the top of the hill to find the sexton show earlier.

Flashback:
The brother (Jones) hands Hook a book with star charts from a new land.
They get approached by three enemy ships.
Instead of firing back, they "deploy the Pegasus."
It is a sail created from feathers of the legendary creature Pegasus.
It allows their ship to fly. They do and Hook is commanded to set a course "second star to the right and straight on till morning."

Neverland:
Back in the forest, Hook tells them that they need to leave to get the sexton.
Charming says his goodbyes (but the girls don't know that.)
After they leave, show is setting a trap. She has an arrow aimed to the net and it drops on the lost boy earlier seen sparring with Henry.
Regina hands him a chocolate (as a bribe) and Emma asks for him to send Henry a message.
The boy sniffs the chocolate then throws it into the forest. Tells them that he wants to be there.
The two men in the forest talk about their brothers.

Flashback:
They have arrived on the island and Hook finds out they are there to find a plant.
While on the island, Peter appears behind them
They ask about the plant and turns out, instead of being a healing plant, it is dreamshade, a dangerous plant.

Neverland:
As Hook is on the cliff and about to throw the rope down to pull up Charming, Peter appears and tries to make him a deal (addresses him as Killian) to grant him a passage off the island if Hook goes back to work for Pan.
He has to kill Charming before the poison does

Flashback:
They find the dreamshade and they consider that it might actually be poison like Pan said.
The two argue about the king's goodness
Jones cuts off a branch of the plant and cuts a line on his own arm to prove himself right
As he turns around to get more of the plant, it takes effect and he falls.

Neverland:
The girls have the lost boy tied to a tree.
Emma is choking him and trying to get him to give Henry a message
Snow pulls her away and tells him to do it a different way.
Regina takes out the heart of the boy (on Emma's consent)
Charming finds out that the sexton isn't actually on the cliff and Hook brought him there to save him

Flashback:
Jones is dying and Pan appears with an "I told you so"
Peter shows Hook a magic spring behind the dreamshade plant and tells him "all magic comes with a price including that spring. don't leave the island unless you're willing to pay it"

Neverland:
Henry, is drawing a house in the dirt
The lost boy shows up next to Henry and sends him a message
He then shows Henry a magic mirror from Regina
Both parties get hope from being in contact with each other

Flashback:
Hook and Jones are in the cabin and discuss the fact that they made it
Jones says they should reveal their king's true nature
As they land, Hook's brother passes out (and dies.)

Neverland:
Back on the island, Hook hacks through the dreamshade and gets to the fountain
He hands Charming the flask with the water in it
He warns him that if he drinks the water, he will never get to leave Neverland
Charming drinks the water and instantly heals (there were black veins crawling all over his body)
They return to the girls and Charming tells everyone that Hook saved his life (but not with the real story.)
They drink rum. I feel like the rum was poisoned because Peter was holding it earlier.
Emma thanks Hook for saving her dad's life.
They flirt.
She kisses him (wow she really wants it..) then she goes into the forest and tells him to wait five minutes and then follow her (man she really wants it!)

Flashback:
Hook's brother is dead and they throw him into the ocean
Hook becomes captain and he burns the Pegasus sail
He then gives a speech very much like one that turns the people into pirates
Yup.....pirates
"Captain Jones! Captain Jones! Captain Jones!"

Neverland:
Hook is sitting by himself drinking the rum
Pan shows up and says he should have taken the deal
He tells Hook that Neil is alive and on the island
Pan asks what Hook will do with that piece of information (to see what kind of man he really is)
We see the cage again with Neil in it. He's drugged and they hang him up in a tree "next to the other one."


In the coming episodes, we will find out who Pan has in that other cage.

Once Upon a Time Season 3 Ep 3 Quite a Common Fairy

03.03 Quite a Common Fairy

     Hello Tinkerbell~! This episode will feature Tinkerbell. Even though I've never liked her in the Peter Pan cartoon, I'm quite excited to see her in this episode. She looks adorable!

 Tinkerbell in the title sequence. (Just like when you watch a Disney movie and she goes *ding* and sparkles happen)
 
Neverland:
     The gang is going through the jungle looking for Pan's camp by using the map that he gave to Emma. They look at the map and sees that the camp moved locations on the map. Of course it's a magical map.... Henry is sleeping at the root of a tree, Peter throws an apple at him and he says "I don't like apples...It's a family thing." Peter tells him it's for target practice, not for eating.

     Hook says that there is one way to get an inside look at Pan's plans, and it's to talk to a fairy that he used to be close with: Tinkerbell! Emma says that "every kid in the world knows her." Regina says it is a bad idea.

     Back in Neverland, Regina wipes her brow with a handkerchief. She puts it in her pocket but it falls on the ground instead. Somebody picks it up (obviously Tinkerbell, we can see her dress). Regina tells Emma that they can combine their magic and overpower Pan inorder to get to Henry. She then mocks Emma by calling Hook "Emma's boyfriend." This upsets Emma, Snow steps in and says "She just lost Neil."
     Pan tells Henry to hit an apple on the top of the Lost Boy Felix's head. The arrow is dipped in nightshade venom. Henry shoots Pan last second, but he catches and just smiles. Says "let me show you something." I find Pan so weird...he finds joy in the weirdest things. Perhaps that's what makes his character HIM.

     As they get closer to Tink's home, Regina falls behind and Emma talks to her. Regina says that if Tink sees her, she probably won't help them. And then Regina says "this is best from Operation Henry." Emma and Regina share a moment when they remember how much Henry loves naming operations. Emma says that they will come back for her after. But Regina looks at Emma and tells her: don't come back for me. And if you don't find Tinkerbell, just keep going.

    As Regina sits there on the log where Emma left her, Tinkerbell appears and acts hostile towards Regina. She blows some pink dust at Regina and Regina faints.
    Hook leads them into Tink's home (a treehouse) and it appears to be empty. Emma and Snow bond over the fact that the treehouse is just a place for sleeping but not a home and they've both had a place like that before.
   Regina wakes up and Tink is saying that Regina burned her when she didn't follow through. Regina mentions that the dust Tinkerbell blew at her might be poppies. (Just like in Wizard of Oz!) But since she has to resort to using poppies, it means Tink has no more magic. Tink gets up and stabs Regina's neck with a stick dipped in nightshade. Look at these characters! Resorting to nature to fight! I like it!

     Regina takes out her own heart and hands it to Tinkerbell. Tinkerbell takes the heart and walks away. Regina realizes that Tink's wings are gone. Tink is sad, she asks why Regina lied and didn't go into that door to meet her soul mate. Regina explains that she didn't want to go in because without it, she would have lost her anger and then she would have nothing left. Regina said she picked revenge over hope and Tink is holding the result: a dark heart.
     Regina asks Tink to do the right thing, choose hope over anger and prove that she is the fairy she really is. Tink looks up at Regina and says "you love your son?" I guess it has been the thing since the beginning, Henry is the one who changes Regina for the better. I guess that's why Pan was after him, Henry is the answer to everything. (Because Emma is the Savior, and the Savior is the daughter born out of True Love. Man a lot of cheesy stuff going on here.)
    Tink says that she won't help Regina. And it's probably too late because Henry has been with Pan for too long already and hands the heart back.
    Peter is showing Henry around the fun that the boys are having. He tells Henry that magic is dying in all the worlds and that they (the Lost Boys) have been waiting for Henry to arrive since before he was born. They need Henry to be the savior and help bring magic back into the land. Henry says that Emma is the Savior, not him. Peter says that perhaps having Henry is what made her the Savior. Pan also shows Henry the parchment that he had in the previous season (the one with Henry's picture on it.)

    Tink appears from a cave as the gang threatens her and asks "where's Regina?" Tinkerbell tells them that she has no more magic but she does know where Pan is. Snow says Tink should lead them there anyways and maybe she can go home with them (I'm assuming it's back to The Enchanted Forest and not to Storybrook)
      Snow tells Charming that she knew it would work because when she was a bandit, all she wanted was a home. And now that they are together, she always feels safe.
     Henry picks up the parchment that Pan handed to him and sees it is a sketch of himself. As he looks up into the sky, Neil is being dropped by the shadow. Felix greets him (Baelfire) and says "welcome home."
    Off at the camp, Emma and Hook are sharing a moment (he cuts a hole in a coconut for her.) Snow and Charming are leaning against a rock together. Regina is off in a corner by herself as Tink watches. Tinkerbell joins Regina and asks if she ever went back to find the man with the lion tattoo. Tink says it was a selfish act because Regina ruined both their lives and his life.

Enchanted Forest:
      Neil is looking for a portal to get to Neverland. He tells Mulan and Robin Hood to help him look. All kinds of things can be portals: beans, magic mirrors, ruby slippers, ashes. Robin Hood's gang of Merry Men show up (with Little John in the lead) and a cute little boy who turns out to be Hood's son. Neil realizes how he can get to Neverland. I fear he plans to use the little boy as bait. This will end badly if I am right.
 
     Yup, I was right, Neil wants to use Hood's (4year old) son as bait for the shadow. But he only has to summon the shadow, nothing bad will happen to him. Yeah right! Neil says that his father (Rumple) helped Hood's wife stay alive long enough to have their son.

    Mulan has a plan for when the shadow shows up. They talk to Neil about reuniting with his family. Neil mentions that he waited too long to tell Emma that he loved her back and that "you shouldn't hold love in." The camera then pans to show Mulan. Perhaps this journey she has taken with Neil is so that she realizes she should confess her love the Prince Phillip (even though he and Aurora are together.)
    Hood's son stand in front of the shadow and says "I believe." They wait for awhile and the shadow appears and grabs the child's arm. Mulan cuts off the hand as Neil latches on and they fly out the window.
    Hood invites Mulan to join his Merry Men. Mulan says that there is someone she must talk to first. She arrives back and is greeted by Aurora. Mulan looks at Aurora and says that she wants to tell her something. But is interrupted by Aurora saying that "Phillip and I are expecting a baby." Mulan looks devastated as she says "I'm joining Robin Hood's band." I guess the one Mulan loves is Aurora? But just because she's tough, doesn't mean she has to be gay...I would prefer if they made her love Phillip and just love Aurora as a best friend. As they hug, the camera pans out and we see the courtyard of Aurora's castle, there's palm trees and it looks like an oasis.

     Mulan shows up at Robin Hood's camp and shakes hands with him. It is revealed that Hood is the man with the lion tattoo.

Flashback:
      Young Regina is eating a lavish dinner by herself when Rumple shows up and says that she missed her magic lesson. She says she doesn't want to learn magic anymore and she needs freedom from the loveless marriage. Rumple explains that the darkness (that is magic) has tasted her bitterness and wants more. So Regina won't be able to escape from dark magic.
       Regina goes to the balcony and hits the railing a few times in anger. As the balcony comes loose and falls, Regina falls along with it. She is saved by Tinkerbell who 'gives her a second chance.' Tink and Regina goes to the pub and has a drink and a nice meal. This is the nicest I've seen Regina in awhile. Tink says that she will help Regina find love using pixie dust. I am a bit skeptical because she already had a "true love." And If Tink can't find another lover for Regina, is this what triggers the Evil Queen persona?

      Clock tower chimes, Tink says she's late and her wings appear. She flies through this flowerbed where there's a bunch of tulips. Inside one of the tulips is the blue fairy. Tink calls her Blue and Blue calls Tink, Green. Says that she's broken a lot of rules already (such as getting big for no reason and breaking curfew.) Blue tries to convince Green not to help Regina because she is surrounded by darkness. Green is put on probation until further notice. After Blue flies off, Green flies back out of the flowerbed.

     Tinkerbell appears in Regina's room and sprinkles pixie dust on her, they begin to fly. Tink sprinkles more dust and it points somewhere, they follow it and come to a pub. They see a guy with a lion tattoo on his wrist. Regina is scared, this is the most vulnerable we've seen her in awhile! She runs away and doesn't go in!! :(

    Tinkerbell goes to see Regina and asks why she isn't "glowing with new love." Regina says that it didn't work and that she went in and that the man was just awful. Regina tells Tink that it's because Tink is a terrible fairy. Tink says that she knows Regina didn't go in because she's afraid. This is so sad, Regina is being so mean to Tinkerbell. I get why she wants to kill Regina so badly. 
     Blue tells Tink that this is the last chance, that she betrayed her trust. Blue takes away Tink's wings (and she falls.)

Once Upon a Time Season 3 Ep 2 Lost Girl

03.02 Lost Girl

    Well, here we are once again with Once Upon a Time. I took a few days to watch this because I would have to rewatch the first episode to do a review on it but I didn't want to rewatch it again to see Snow and Charming's annoying selves. And so, I shall decide whether or not I am going to watch that again to write a recap while I watch episode two!

    Now that Rumple and Regina have their magic back, thing should be much more interesting! When Rumple is looking at the rock, I thought that he was going to open it and let all the children out (like the Pied Piper) but turns out he's cutting his shadow off with his magic dagger. OHHH I get why he did that!! He doesn't want Pan to be able to steal his shadow (and kill him like they killed that guy in the previous episode.) Oh wait....he's telling the shadow to hide the magic dagger.

Oooooh! Arthur's Sword in the Stone in the OUAT opener. 

    Snow tells Emma to call her 'Mom'. SHOT DOWN!!! Hook owns Charming by telling him not to hack the bush and go around it instead. Hook & Emma moment! They have an intense moment about who wears more eyeliner [Hook does]. (No, just kidding, they were talking about perms.)
    Flashback to when Charming found Snow...I'm bored! Okay, Regnia looking stunning in the garden. Love her dress!  Now Snow is trying to take back the kingdom. Why is she suddenly wearing rags when she was wearing a beautiful white dress earlier? Okay now I see how that girl gets to play Young Snow.
   Oh time for Emma to meet Pan! I saw this part in a preview clip. Emma can't sleep because she hears children wailing. She goes into the forest and gets greeted by Pan. Okay okay, is it just me, or does Pan look strangely aroused by Emma putting the knife sword up to his neck? Great....another "believe in yourself" task for Emma (Pan gives Emma a blank map).
    The gang tries to figure out the magical map that Pan gave to Emma. Snow tells Emma that if he's playing a game, they can win. Flashback to the Enchanted Forest: Snow, Charming, and the Dwarfs are sitting in a campsite sitting around a table discussing what to do about the threat that the Evil Queen previously threatened. The dwarfs will stand by Snow's side no matter what she decides. Charming says that they have to fight, Snow says that it doesn't matter what they do because she's just a girl who lost her parents and ran away into the forest. Charming goes to Rumple to help him help Snow remember who she truly is (a princess.)
     Back to Neverland, Rumple is sitting by the fire with the doll that the Lost Boy threw at him last episode when someone steals the doll. He chases the person and it turns out to be Belle, as they are about to kiss, Rumple realizes that it's not the real Bell. (I'm just happy that Belle is back again!)
     Enchanted Forest, Charming is trying to convince Rumple. Snow is trying to hit a target with her arrows. Charming shows up and mentions a weapon which is a half-day's ride away.
    Neverland: Emma holds the map up as she says a bunch of facts about herself: She came from Boston, daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming, came through a magic tree that was a portal, lastly: she is the savior. It doesn't work so Regina takes the map and does a locator spell on it and tells Emma that she wants to be the leader so she should lead. (This reminds me of the song in Peter Pan about following the leader, the leader, the leader.)
     Meanwhile, Belle and Rumple end up at a cliff. This cliff reminds me of the one that Alice and Cyrus were standing on while looking out at the Boiling Sea. But instead of a deadly body of ocean, it's just the Dark Forest.

Best quote of the night by Hook: Careful, he may look like a boy, but he's a bloody demon.

    Enchanted Forest: Snow and Charming are off looking for the weapon. She looks at him and says that this is the first time they've been alone since he proposed. He says that it's hard to be alone whey she has seven big brothers. (This is just so awww.) As they progress up the hill/mountain, Snow asks what the weapon that Rumple speaks of is. Charming mentions Merlin and Camelot. Of course I already know what it is, I super excited and jumping all over the place right now. And they come to a rock with a beautiful sword in it, there's a blue gem on the hilt of the sword. [Charming whisper says: Excalibur!] Charming attempts to pull it out and struggles while Snow just gently tugs at it and it comes right on out almost knocking her back.
    Neverland: As the gang (of adults) make their way to a campsite, they see Henry. But as he turns around, it's just Pan with Henry's coat and red striped scarf. The Lost Boys appear and a fight ensues. Hook starts fighting the blond boy from the previous episode. Hook mentions "You remember what I did to Rufio." All I can think is: RUFIO! RUFIO! RUFIO! As Emma wrestles a boy to the ground and yells at him "Where's Henry!?" She stops and comes to a realization.
    Enchanted Forest: The Queen appears back in the village where she was threatening the people. Charming hands Snow the sword and she says "We'll see" (Grumpy asked if she made a good decision.) As Regina does the choke hold on Grumpy, Snow charges with the sword. Regina poofs away when Snow swipes and appears behind her. Snow turned around and hit at the right time and got her right in the face! I like this Snow better than the current one, she's a fighter not a sissy.
    Current Snow asks Emma why she stopped when she was fighting that little boy. Emma says she saw the look of despair in the boys eye and she felt the same way when she was in the foster system. And that on this island, she feels like 'an orphan.' Woosh! The map appears.
     Enchanted Forest: Snow demands Rumple to tell what Charming bartered away for the location of Excalibur. Rumple tells her that the sword is a fake and makes it disappear. He then take the necklace from her neck and says "for wasting my time." (It was her mother's necklace, so sad)

Another Hook & Emma moment! They share a moment (and a drink) as they discuss what their plan is for getting Henry back.
 Hook: Just who are you Swan?
 Emma: Wouldn't you like to know?
 Hook: Perhaps I would

    Rumple is in the Dark Forest and the doll that he previously dropped off the cliff comes back to haunt him. He burns it but it appears again. He ends up putting it in his pocket.
    Pan appears as Emma is picking berries ("Don't eat the blue ones") He asks if he can call Emma a Lost Girl (I still think he has the hots for her.) He tells Emma that Henry hasn't forgiven her yet and that she'll be an orphan by the end of this journey.

DUN DUN DUN!!

Too many unnecessary flash backs and forwards. I appreciate the multiple storylines but it gets annoying when they have to change to a different one each time they finish a scene. OUAT in Wonderland is more appealing to me at the moment.
